PCD Hub: A digital platform for accessibility, diversity and productive inclusion in Nova Lima and Raposos.
The project aims to promote the socio-economic inclusion of people with disabilities and their families by connecting them to specialists, companies and entrepreneurial opportunities, creating a collaborative ecosystem that strengthens the local economy and promotes well-being and quality of life. The project receives support from various entities, including AngloGold and Incubadoria.
Circular Economy Social Business
Bread of Malt Community Bakery: Circular economy, income generation and productive inclusion in Nova Lima.
In this project, malt pomace from craft breweries is donated to the José de Almeida Community Association (ACJA), which produces bread from this input. As well as fighting hunger, the bakery also generates income for the community and promotes a sustainable environment. The project has received support from various organizations, including AngloGold and FIEMG. The bakery's physical space is also used for training in baking and other activities.
